We book a provisional date for around 7-10 days after your due date, and then adjust this if baby has other plans. Please don’t panic if baby is early or late — it’s totally okay.
-
Don’t worry at all if your baby cries or is unsettled — it's completely normal! There’s no rush during our session, so we can take breaks for feeding, comforting, or just some extra cuddles. Some of the most beautiful moments come from these natural interactions, so just relax and know that I’m here to support you and your baby.
If your little one is too unsettled, we can always arrange another date to come back. I understand how important these memories are, and my priority is to ensure you feel comfortable and relaxed while capturing those beautiful moments together.
-
Don’t worry if your children misbehave or won’t sit still — it's all part of the fun! Kids are full of energy and personality, and I’m here to capture those authentic moments! We’ll go at their pace!
I have a selection of toys they can play with, which creates amazing opportunities for those natural, candid shots. It’s never just about sitting still and smiling at the camera; I focus on creating a relaxed and enjoyable environment where they can be themselves. Whether they’re playing, exploring, or interacting with you, I’m here to document it all.

Your images will be ready within 3-4 weeks of your session.

A soft-proof gallery is a private online space where you can preview the best photos from our session. These images are lightly edited for you to get a sense of how they’ll look, but they’re not the final version. Once you’ve picked your favourites, I’ll make a few tweaks, like removing any small distractions, and then I’ll send over your final chosen photos.
-
Gentle skin retouching is a subtle editing process where I make small adjustments to your baby’s photos to enhance their natural beauty. For newborns, this usually means smoothing out dry or flaky skin, reducing any temporary redness, and softening minor blemishes like milk spots or tiny scratches.
-
Of course. Your little one’s privacy means everything. If you prefer not to have any images shared on my website or social media, please just let me know—I’ll always respect that without question. You’re in full control.
-
Not completely. While the studio is kept clean and cosy, our family dog does occasionally spend time here — so I can’t promise it’s completely allergen-free.
If your little one has a sensitivity to animals, it may be best to explore other photographers, just to be on the safe side.
-
You’re welcome to bring any special toys, comforters, or lovies your little one loves — these always help create those genuine, joyful moments.
As for outfits, you can bring your own pieces. Or if you’d prefer, you can also choose from my studio wardrobe of neutral-coloured outfits for babies and mamas, so there’s no need to worry about preparing what to wear.
